After a hosting move we are finally back to blogging! Today we are posting the fun and slightly embarrassing photographs of us working on the wedding day. We don’t always look our best, well can’t imagine looking amazing after photographing for a few hours during hot summer days. But here they are, a small view into how we work on a wedding day. Ok, let’s start with a selfie after the wedding from our first wedding of the year at the amazing and gorgeous Castle Otocec(we’re so glad we’ll be coming back this year in June!).
And one more from the gorgeous Vila Podvin because we had some time for a quick selfie!
And some unintentional selfie during hair and make up at the beautiful Hotel City Maribor. Don’t worry we have the exact same photo without me in it!
Domen trying out the light in the hallway, while i was stealing the bouquet aka. taking it for some photographs! 🙂
And this is one of my “do you have the whole group in the photo” look during a group photo at Ranc Burger Venise.
Arranging guests for a group photo….
… and again one of my “do you have them all in the photo” look. This time up close!
And me doing the arranging once more this time with a wrapped right hand due to falling just a few minutes before. Even though it was quite painful i wrapped my hand and it instantly felt better and had no problem photographing the rest of the day.
Doing some veil magic, well trying to, but i think Domen is better at this.
Here’s the proof. Domen doing his veil magic perfectly!
Domen being a light tester on the left for some family formals, and me helping the bride with her veil for her portraits on the right.
I use Domen as my light tester a lot! Here is one from Germany, where we were testing if the light is perfect for some golden hour portraits.
And here i was using him to see how the light looks for a walk down the aisle.
And for some more golden hour portraits. He is a great light tester! 🙂
Somehow i have so return the favour, so i am the one that is helping him test the lights at a photobooth. Of course i have to use the prop!
Or preparing for the first dance! Don’t want to be surprised!
Working magic in the church with his beloved Sigma Art.
There also are some moments when i step(unintentionally!) in front of his lens. Like here when we were photographing at the gorgeous Q-komel Kobjeglava…
Oh, there is another one! I’m trying to get better at this :).
But sometimes he steps in front of my lens. Thankfully both situations don’t happen often. I think the photographs above and the one below are very rare to find!
And here we are both doing some light testing with different lenses for a potential location for bride and groom’s portraits.
Directing our couples is mostly my job.
Can you spot Domen?
One more of “find Domen” in the photographs! 🙂
Sometimes even the videographer team steps in for some veil help. Thank you Studio Boutique! 🙂
And here he is, doing his veil fluffing magic once again!
Me trying to get a different perspective, while waiting for the bride and groom…
This is what i was photographing in the above photo.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how you do the perfect selfie! 🙂 We are always there when our couples need help with selfies!
And me while photographing lovely details at a wedding at Grand Hotel Toplice at Lake Bled.
He always gives me the serious face when i test the light!
And this is one of those “find Urska” photographs taken at Dvor Jezersek.
Domen is always the one that gets in the middle of the dancing circle!
See my flash extender? And this was not intentional!
Photographing the cake is not an easy task! Especially when the cake looks amazing and you know it’s taste is amazing, since the amazing Petra Sodja from Pcakes made it.
And we are finishing this fun post with some selfies made during dinner time.
And one from Venice with Allison and Jake! Please excuse us for looking a bit sleepy below but we woke up at 4.30am for this session. But it was worth it!
I hope you enjoyed these photographs and seeing some behind the scenes moments! We are very much looking forward to sharing some best of photographs next week so don’t missed it :).
